The challenge

The owner had been quoted for pressure washing by two other firms. On a concrete tile that strips the granular surface and takes years off the roof — the tiles were sound and worth protecting.

What we did

Hand scraping and soft brushing across both pitches, with all debris bagged rather than washed into the gutters. Gutters and downpipes were cleared and flow-tested afterwards, and a biocide applied to slow regrowth.

Result

The roof reads as a roof again and the gutters flow properly. Photographs taken during the work also picked up two cracked tiles that were replaced at the same time.
