Guttering is the cheapest part of a roof and the one that causes the most expensive damage when it fails. Overflowing gutters saturate the wall head, rot the fascia and eventually the rafter feet. When we replace a roofline we check the eaves course and the rafter ends first — capping over rotten timber is the most common thing we are called back to undo.
How we do it
- 01
Inspect
Fascia removed at a check point to see the rafter ends before quoting.
- 02
Repair
Any rotten timber cut out and replaced — not capped over.
- 03
Fit
Fascia, soffit, gutter and downpipes fitted to falls.
- 04
Test
Water run through the system and checked at every joint.
